Can marketing be a force for good in the world?

On the surface, the question sounds ridiculous. Marketing, a force for good? That’s crazy. It’s built on deception, manipulation and is single-handedly responsible for the proliferation of influencers in our lives.
Screw you, marketing.
But Jay has a different take. And he’s creating a movement to remake marketing into something rooted in trust, transparency and accountability.
The Marketing Accountability Council is the home for his movement. And it’s growing every day, because it turns out, lots of people who work in marketing are tired of the bullshit.
They want to do better.

Employees who feel empowered to question what’s always been done.
Companies that recognize the impact of their actions far outweighs the influence of their words.
